CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ESSAY WINNERS
COURTNEY SHUB and CAMEY ZUSSMAN!!!

Earlier this yea Courtney Shub and Camey Zussman r, Weinstein Funeral Home sponsored their annual Scholarship Essay Contest. This scholarship program is a chance for the students to earn up to $1,000 towards their Religious School education (1^st place - $1,000; 2^nd place - $500; 3^rd place - $250). Students were asked to write an essay about “What is the Meaning of Tzedakah to me?”

I am pleased to announce that Courtney Shub and Camey Zussman have placed in the essay contest. At the Scholarship Dinner on June 15^th, Courtney and Camey both won 1st place -- Camey Zussman for the 8-10 year old age group and Courtney Shub for the 11-13 year old age group. Yasher Koach to Courtney, Camey and their families.

The FJMC (Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs) has a weekly e-mail publication titled "The Unraveller." This week's edition (which is attached) features an article written by Rabbi Jeff Pivo. Rabbi Pivo provides a beautiful and incisive discussion of the Book of "Song of Songs." We are very proud that Rabbi Pivo has been chosen to contribute to this publication.
