About Us

ABOUT US

Congregation Beth Judea is the largest conservative congregation in the Northwest suburbs. Located in Long Grove, Illinois at Route 83 and Hilltop road, our membership is currently 650 families. While our membership is large, the clergy and board are dedicated to providing all services in a warm and caring atmosphere.

Our mission is to promote an active environment of communal prayer, religious education, life-cycle events, and enhancement of Jewish traditions, values and identity through dedication and application of the principles of Conservative Judaism and experiences shared by people of all ages..

Our vibrant egalitarian Conservative synagogue creates a special sense of mishpacha (family) among our congregants by encouraging their involvement and volunteerism within our community.

For over 42 years, Congregation Beth Judea has been committed to fulfilling the spiritual, educational, cultural and social needs of the Jewish community of Chicago's northwest suburbs. In the spirit of Klal Yisrael, we acknowledge and recognize our responsibility to serve and support our greater Jewish community, our community at large and the State of Israel.
